OJ Simpson is said to be in very bad health, with reports saying he only has months to live due to his bad diet and severe diabetes.
The 66-year-old former football star has “sky high” blood pressure, is obese, and has no physical activity.
“The Juice” is currently serving a 33-year prison sentence as doctors have warned him about his bad health.
Simpson appeared at a hearing in May showing has massive weight gain.
Insiders reveal the formerly fit athlete now weighs a hefty 300 pounds and prison doctors have encouraged him to exercise and eat better to combat the high blood pressure and diabetes.
Instead, OJ lies in his prison cell bed and only gets up to eat.
An insider said, “OJ’s doctors have told him he could be dead in as little as three months because of his out-of-control blood sugar and blood pressure. But OJ doesn’t care. He knows he’s never going to get out of prison, so he refuses to take care of himself”.
Simpson’s lawyer Ozzie Fumo said he hasn’t been told anything about Simpson’s bad health.
Fumo said, “As far as I know his health is very good, he was doing just fine. I just spoke to him on Saturday. I spent a lot of time with him preparing for the retrial motion and he never once mentioned diabetes. We discussed health issues, we had meals together, and he seemed fine.”
OJ is reportedly making plans for his death.
He allegedly confessed to murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994 and told a prison friend that he will write a confession letter that will be mailed after he dies.
OJ Simpson is acting strange in jail, reportedly singing the “If I Only Had a Brain” song from “The Wizard of Oz” since his hearing in May.
A pal of Simpson’s said, “He ignores people when they talk to him and often wanders around in a glassy-eyed trance. His family is being supportive but he’s not paying attention to them either.”
