Tulisa Contostavlos was arrested today on suspicion of supplying class A drugs.
The 24-year-old former “X Factor” judge, was arrested along with a 35-year-old man at a central London police station and posted bail.
The arrest comes on the heels of an undercover drug sting by a UK Tabloid, that posed as a drug buyer.
Tulisa Contostavlos was recorded bragging about being able to get any drug they wanted.
Tulisa said, “Half my phone book sells it. Of course I can get it for you. Half the guys I know are drug dealers.”
The Sun reported that her friend, Chicago rapper Mike GLC, whose real name is Leonard D. Harris, sold half an ounce of cocaine to the undercover reporter.
Tulisa’s estate was searched by detectives and the Metropolitan Police confirmed they also searched another residence.
The singer’s Audi R8 sports car has remained outside her home in Hertfordshire since Sunday. Her cousin and former N-Dubz bandmate Dappy was spotted arriving on Sunday.
A police source stated, “a 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman” were arrested and “both have now been bailed pending further inquiries to a date in late July”.
Rapper Mike GLC tweeted yesterday, “What do d*** head artist thinks the rules changed because I’m in this madness keep making video and talking my name that’s all I’m saying (sic)”.
Tulisa Contostavlos was officially dropped as a judge on “The X Factor” last week, with Sharon Osbourne returning to the show in her place.
