Rachael Leigh Cook Pregnant With Her First Child!

Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies made a big announcement!

The “Perception” actress, who is best known for her 1999 romantic comedy “She’s All That” and her “Vampire Diaries” star husband are expecting their first child.

Cook, 33, said she’s been attempting to hide her growing belly, stating, “I’ve been hiding my rapidly growing bump while shooting but this kiddo is vying for screen time. “We clearly have a future actor on our hands.”

Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies tied the knot in 2004. This will be the first child for the couple, who will welcome their bundle of joy in the Fall 2013.

Gillies, 37, who plays an original vampire, Elijah Mikaelson, in “The Vampire Diaries,” seems to want to choose a unique name for their baby.

He joked, “A lot of people are asking whether I’d prefer a boy or a girl. In truth, it doesn’t matter to me — I just can’t wait to meet little Keanu Robocop.”

The couple are working on Daniel’s, “Broken Kingdom,” will will premiere on May 15 on Showtime.The actor produced and directed the film, which also stars his wife.

Gillies will also star in “The Vampire Diaries” spinoff, “The Originals,” which will get its own pilot on the network this fall.

“Every part of that sounds amazing. So I was thrilled by that idea and I’ve said it a multitude of times,” he said. “I mean there is a whole world out there and these guys seem globally threatening. Especially this family.”
