Former “Days Of Our Lives” star Dylan Patton has been charged with selling cocaine after an undercover police sting led to his arrest.
Patton was charged on Thursday with one count of cocaine possession and faces up to nine years in the slammer if convicted.
Prosecutors obtained a search warrant for Patton’s Agoura Hills home on Tuesday, where they seized an unspecified amount of cocaine during the search.
Acting on a tip from an undercover cop, who made a purchase from Patton a few days ago, cops raided the actor’s Los Angeles home on Tuesday and took the 20 year old into custody.
Officers arrested Patton in front of his parents.
Patton’s home is located near an elementary school and Patton was also charged with “selling drugs within 1,000 feet of an elementary school.”
Dylan Patton played the role of Will Horton on the soap opera “Days of Our Lives” from 2009 to 2010. Will is the son of Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).
Patton was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actor for the role.
After leaving “Days of Our Lives”, he was cast in the 2011 Sci-Fi movie, “Drones, Clones and Pheromones”
The 20-year-old former model and actor remains in jail and his bail is set at $30,000.
