Pippi, whose real name is Tami Erin, played a nine-year-old with superhuman strength. Apparently she used some of that to put the beatdown on her roommate!
Tami Erin, known as the child star of the 1980’s show “The Adventures of Pippi Longstocking, was arrested for assault after a physical altercation on Thursday.
A neighbor heard the now-38-year-old actress arguing with the man she lives with in northern California. The fight became physical and the roommate began yelling for help.
Erin was arrested when police arrived and spent the night in the slammer. She was released early on Friday morning.
The victim didn’t show any obvious signs of injuries and the district attorney will determine if they will prosecute.
Tami Erin was chosen from thousands of stars to play the role of Pippi Longstocking, a fictional character in a children’s series by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren.
The pretty redhead actually got her start as a model at the age of 8 with Elite models.
Erin most recent acting work was in the 2010 movie “Tim & Eric’s Awesome Christmas Special” with John C. Reilly and Zach Galifianakis.
