James Franco is refreshingly honest and opened up to Howard Stern about his sex tape and how he rejected Lindsay Lohan’s sexual advances.
Howard Stern pressed Franco about his friendship with troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, admitting he felt she was troubled and turned her down.
The actor opened up about his friendship with the “Mean Girls” star during his interview with radio host Howard Stern, revealing they became friends while staying at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont Hotel.
Stern pressed Franco about the details, asking him, “You turned down sex with Lindsay Lohan, didn’t you?”
Franco said, “Oh, gosh. Poor Lindsay. I haven’t talked to her in a while… We were friends… I met her through friends… there was a moment when I was staying at the Chateau Marmont Hotel when my house in L.A. was being redone, so I did this thing where I just stayed at the hotel, and she had been living there for a couple (of) years. So we were living in the same place, so I got to know her.”
The host then pushes Franco to answer the question, asking, “And you turned her down sexually?” and Franco responds, “I mean, I don’t want to brag about it. I don’t know how that got out… (She) was having issues even then, so you feel weird.
“Honestly… she was a friend. I’ve met a lot of people that are troubled and sometimes you don’t want to do that.”
Franco also admitted making a sex tape with his former girlfriend, Marla Sokoloff, who stars on “The Practice”.
James Franco dated Sokoloff for four years after they made the 2000 movie “Whatever It Takes” together.
He tells U.S. radio host Howard Stern, “It was with my girlfriend… She’s an actress. She’s married now… I’ll say (her name) because it wasn’t anything bad, it was an innocent thing we made for ourselves… And everybody knows. I dated an actress named Marla Sokoloff for like four years, she was on that show The Practice. She played the secretary. We did a movie together. A really bad movie called Whatever It Takes.”
Sokoloff is now married to drummer Alec Puro and they have a daughter together.
