It’s already been 16 months since their split and Demi Moore is finally ready to officially divorce Ashton Kutcher.

The actress will take legal action to officially separate from the “Two and a Half Men” and has had her fill of their fight over the financial settlement.

An insider close to the situation said Demi Moore may file for divorce as soon as next Tuesday.

The source revealed, “Ashton has been very difficult during the talks – you could even say he has been hostile. After over a year of attempting to reach a settlement, Demi is definitely ready to move on. It’s hoped lawyers for both sides can reach a settlement this spring, otherwise the divorce will go into litigation and trial.”

Ashton, 35, and Demi Moore’s six year marriage came to a halt in 2011 amid claims he had an affair with a 22-year-old named Sara Leal.

Moore, 50, said at the time of the split, “As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.”

Kutcher has moved on from their split with his former “That 70s Show” co-star, Mila Kunis.

Ashton filed for divorce in December 2012, but the estranged spouses have been engaged in a battle over money since that time.

Demi has finally decided to put an end to the feud so she can move on with her life, even though she feels she deserves a larger settlement from Ashton, who made $24 million in 2012 for his sitcom show.

The source adds, “Ashton made a lot of money after marrying Demi – a lot more than she made – but despite him becoming just as famous through her, he believes he doesn’t owe her that much.”
