Ron Jeremy has given his fans an update on his health, revealing he is feeling much better.

The adult-film star suffered an aneurysm near his heart late last month and had to have two emergency surgeries. He was in critical condition, but he is now recovering.

Jeremy took a picture with one of his nurses, both giving a thumbs up to his fans.

The porn star said, “Thank you ALL for the concern & well wishes, I’m doing very well thanks to modern technology!”

Jeremy’s rep, Mike Esterman, said Ron is “doing quite well and cracking jokes”.

Esterman said the actor wanted everyone to know his heath is improving and thank everyone for their support.

“He’s touched and delighted by the outpouring of support from fans and media alike” Esterman stated.

On Tuesday, Jeremy’s management tweeted from his verified account to update fans.

“Ron remains in intensive care at LA Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, but is awake and on the road to recovery, in spite of this ordeal.”

Ron Jeremy’s father, Arnold Hyatt, said, “It was an eight-hour procedure to begin with, and then there was some bleeding around his valves, so they had to go in for a second time to stop the bleeding.”

The actor had been on a ventilator and unconscious for days.

Jeremy drove himself to the hospital just over a week ago after suffering severe chest pains. Doctors discovered the aneurysm near his heart.

In addition to his adult film career, Jeremy has appeared on “Tosh.0″ and “The Surreal Life”.
