British singer Lily Allen has given birth to a baby girl.

“The Fear” singer and her husband Sam Cooper, who are already parents to a 14-month-old daughter named Ethel, welcomed their second daughter on Tuesday night.

Lily and Sam chose the name Marnie Rose Cooper for their new addition.

A source close to the 27-year-old singer said, “Marnie is a real cutie. Sam and Lily are ecstatic about adding another girl to the family. A little sister for Ethel is brilliant news to lift the January blues for the family.”

Lily Allen revealed earlier this month that she was eating lots of curry to try and bring on labor. She also shared that she planned to give birth to heavy metal music.

Lily said her hubby had created a compilation of tracks by metal band Pantera to listen to while she gave birth.

The singer previously tweeted, “My husband is currently making me a Pantera mix cd to take to the birthing suite. #cute (sic)”
She revealed she was pregnant with Ethel on her wedding day to Sam, 34, in Gloucestershire in June 2011 after a two year courtship.

Tragically, Lily lost her stillborn son in October 2011.
