Celebrities are known for giving their offspring some pretty unique names.
Some couples in the entertainment industry go for creative monikers, but some are just a little too “out there”. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite Hollywood star’s unusual (or weird) baby names!
Beyonce
Beyonce and rapper Jay-Z named their baby girl Blue Ivy Carter. Jay-Z has an album called “Blueprint” and the number 4 is Beyonce’s favorite number (like Blue IV)
Nicolas Cage
Actor Nicolas Cage named his son named Kal-El Coppola. Cage is a huge Superman fan, and Kal-El is the Kryptonian name Superman had before he became Clark Kent.
Gwyneth Paltrow
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay singer Chris Martin named their daughter Apple. Paltrow previously said she loved whole “wholesome and clean” the name sounded. She got the idea because another Coldplay band member named his daughter Apple.
Robert Rodriguez
“Sin City” director Robert Rodriguez has four sons with very unusual names. His boys are named Rocket, Racer, Rebel and Rogue.
Jason Lee
“My Name is Earl” star Jason Lee has a son named Pilot Inspektor. That’s definitely a very different name!

“Repo Men” actor Forest Whitaker has named his children the most relaxing names in Hollywood. His kid’s names are Sonnet, True, Ocean, and Autumn.

Yates also had a daughter with the late INXS singer Michael Hutchence named Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily.

Comedian and magician Penn Jillette named his daughter Moxie CrimeFighter. Seriously!
Jamie Oliver/Jools Oliver
Chef Jamie Oliver and his wife, model Jools Oliver, have four kids with very unique names. Their children include Poppy Honey Rosie, 10, Daisy Boo Pamela, nine, Petal Blossom Rainbow, three, and their two-year-old son Buddy Bear Maurice.
Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie
