Actor Michael Douglas’ son, Cameron Douglas, has been tossed in isolation after authorities at the federal prison found drugs in his system.
Cameron is currently serving nearly 10-years for dealing crystal meth and heroin at a Loretto, Pennsylvania penitentiary.
Douglas’ recent urinalysis confirmed the presence of illegal drugs in his system and was placed in solitary confinement as part of his punishment.
It is not yet known if the infraction will mean more jail time.
This is just the latest drama for the “Wall Street” star’s troubled son, who suffered a broken finger and leg in October 2012. He was reportedly attacked in jail for co-operating with authorities and testifying against two of his drug suppliers.
An inside source said Cameron Douglas has totally gone gangster, getting prison tattoos and lifting weights in jail.
The source said, “He recently had his initials inscribed on his neck and big stars on his shoulders with each year of his incarceration in each star: ’10, ’11, ’12. And he’s currently getting a scroll on his back.”
Cameron has been working as a weekend orderly in a housing unit and earning $1.65 per month.
Douglas won’t be eligible for parole until 2018.
