LeAnn Rimes has opened up about wanting to have children with Eddie Cibrian.

She is stepmom to Eddie’s sons with Brandi Glanville, but wants her own kids with the husband she stole from Brandi.

LeAnn, who spent a month in rehab in August to deal with emotional problems, said she loves spending time with Eddie’s kids – Mason, nine, and five-year-old Jake. But, she wants to have her own children.

Rimes said, “Eddie and I talk about having kids and I would love to be a mom. I didn’t ever want to bring a child into the world without taking care of myself. And that was another reason I decided to go (into treatment).”

LeAnn even opened up about her rehab stay, admitting the public’s negative view of her since she cheated on her first husband with Eddie took its toll on her.

The country singer said, “I was America’s Sweetheart for so many years, but it was just like everyone turned. No one will ever understand how much thought and hurt were put into our decision. I was incredibly depressed and not quite sure of who I was. People are so quick to judge and make decisions for themselves about situations they know absolutely nothing about.”

LeAnn Rimes’comments come on the heels of a very public feud between Eddie and his ex-wife.

Brandi blasted LeAnn on Twitter, claiming LeAnn suffers from a “severe eating disorder”.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star claims her son Mason became ill after he accidentally ate one of LeAnn’s laxatives because he thought it was candy.

Eddie, 39, fired back, forwarding an email he sent to Brandi in which he accused her of being consumed by “wine and narcissism”.

Eddie dumped Brandi, his wife of nine years, in 2009 after beginning an affair with married LeAnn on the set of their film “Northern Lights”.
