Busy Philipps had a little surprise to share with her fans.

The “Cougar Town” actress took to Twitter on Monday to tell her followers that she is expecting her second child.

Phillips, who had taken a home pregnancy test, tweeted a picture of the positive results that simply read, “Pregnant”.

The actress seemed pretty surprised, adding, “So this happened”.

Busy’s publicist confirmed the baby news, simply stating, “I can confirm she is pregnant”.

This will be baby the second child for the 33-year-old actress and her screenwriter husband Marc Silverstein.

They are already parents to a four-year-old daughter, Birdie Leigh.

Busy Phillips received congratulations from her pals on the pregnancy.

Actor Adam Shapiro wrote, “YES!! So excited for you guys!!! Missed you this weekend!”

Her funny pal Corey Wentworth tweeted, “CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whut Whut?!?!”

Busy Phillips currently plays Laurie Keller on Courteney Cox’s television series “Cougar Town”, but has found time to play with her daughter by converting her dressing room into a playroom.

She said, “I have my dressing room set up as a playroom and my four-year-old actually said to my husband [Marc Silverstein] a few weeks ago: “Dad, they got rid of mom’s dressing room at Cougar Town and they made it into my playroom.”

Phillips said, “I always tell Birdie that I’m so lucky because I have two jobs that I love. The first job is being her mother and that’s the most important job.”

The actress is also the godmother of the late Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams’ daughter, Matilda. In fact, she is the one that introduced Michelle to Jason Segel.
