“That ’70s Show” actress Lisa Robin Kelly was arrested for assault in North Carolina on Monday.
Kelly, 42, and a 61-year-old male, who has been identified as her husband, were both taken into custody following a domestic violence incident last night.
The North Carolina police reports state that there were no visible injuries on either Kelly or her husband, adding that drugs or alcohol were not believed to be involved.
Both Kelly and the 61-year-old man are still in custody.
Kelly, who played Laurie Forman in the comedy show, has had her fair share of legal trouble over the past couple of years.
In March she was arrested on a felony charge of corporal injury upon a spouse, but the Los Angeles County District Attorney reportedly declined to file charges.
At the time Kelly went on television claiming that the injuries to her then-boyfriend John Michas were self-inflicted and that he was trying to frame her.
Lisa Robin Kelly talked about her past problems with addiction, blaming them on the pain over losing a baby.
She said, “I was abusing alcohol, which I no longer do. With the 70s show, I was guilty – of the drinking problem – and I ran. And I am not running from this. And I have paid my dues.”
In 2010 she was arrested for driving under the influence and was fined and sentenced to 12 months of unsupervised probation after pleading guilty.
