Lil Wayne suffered “seizure-like” symptoms on Thursday afternoon while aboard his private jet, forcing an emergency landing in Texas.
The rapper was hospitalized after falling ill on the flight at a nearby hospital for “several hours”.
Wayne was out of the hospital by 6 p.m. and said to be doing “much better”.
There are no other details released about the scary incident and the rapper hasn’t updated his Twitter account since Wednesday.
Lil Wayne, 30, appeared in good health as he performed “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” at Sunday’s San Francisco Giants baseball playoff game.
He also appeared on Tuesday in the block-party video for his collaboration with T.I. on the track “Ball.”
This is the latest issue for the rapper, who recently filed a lawsuit against Quincy Jones III for using his music in a documentary film.
Lil Wyane claimed he never gave permission to use his music in “The Carter”, which was a movie about his life.
Wayne insists he never gave Quincy Jones’ son and the other producers permission to use his tunes in their project.
The rapper didn’t like the outcome of the movie and filed a lawsuit against them, claiming it was a ‘scandalous portrayal’ of him.
