Dancing hottie Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s has decided not to renew his contract with “Dancing with the Stars” when it expires next year.

Chmerkovskiy took to Twitter to confirm his departure by linking a New York Post article, writing, “With nothing but love, gratitude and respect to all that played a part in that amazing aspect of my life.

“What else do I have to do there after 15 seasons? It makes total sense. The audience can’t expect for me to want to stick around, and the producers can’t expect for me to want to stick around.”

“Essentially, 80% of our job is to give somebody another push in their career. Or we make them into likable characters. But at the end of the day, they go off and they better themselves.

“I loved doing it. But to be honest with you, at 32, I am at what-about-me time. I am not thinking that with me leaving, the show will go off the air or anything. Like my dad said, ‘There are no irreplaceable people.’ I wish them the next 50 years of success. But I have to do something else. I need to move on for me.”

Maksim won’t be out of the showbiz world though ladies!

The dancing pro has signed a movie deal that will begin filming in January. And, from the sound of it the sexy dancer will be sans clothes in quite a bit of the film.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy states of new role, “He is a bit of a hustler. The [female lead] is faced with the choice between somebody really attractive and appealing and somebody who looks like a lifelong partner.

“Who she chooses, you will have to watch the movie. But I like that I get to portray somebody that I would not like for my daughter.”

The only part of his new career that makes him a bit nervous is the love scenes. Maks adds, “I have never had a romantic scene before.”
