Willie Nelson Hospitalized After Having Breathing Problems

Willie Nelson was forced to cancel an appearance in Colorado on Sunday, when he had to go to the hospital for his breathing problems.

The country singer was scheduled to appear at Lulu’s Barkin’ BBQ, a benefit concert for the Dumb Friends League near Denver.

Fred Bartlit, who was hosting the event at his home, stated, “I was told Willie woke up and had trouble breathing, so he was taken to the hospital.”

The crowd was told that Nelson was “suffering from breathing problems due to the high altitude and emphysema.”

Nelson’s band and back-up singers arrived at the venue, but the singer never made it to the location.

Nelson is scheduled to headline the Railroad Revival Tour in Tempe on Friday, Oct. 26.
