Actress Ellen Page, 25, has filed a complaint with the Los Angeles police department after receiving threatening messages on Twitter.
The LAPD has obtained a warrant to force Twitter to give them information from the two accounts that posted the scary messages in June, which were later taken down.
In one of the tweets, the user threatens to “murder Ellen Page” while another stated, “Ellen Page if you continue to date (actor) Alexander (Skarsgard) I will K-1-l-l you in public in the next year… Be it in a club, at a game, in a restaurant, or when you’re signing autographs.”
The LAPD were also alerted in June to an anonymous caller that phoned in to the Los Angeles Film Festival and told organizers of plans to hurt the actress.
Page is most known for her part as the lead in “Juno” and her role with Leonardo DiCaprio in “Inception”.
