A Canadian man who posed as teen star Justin Bieber on Facebook is accused of sexually abusing a fan and may have victimized young girls all over the world.
Authorities report Lee Moir, 34, of Toronto, Canada made a Facebook account claiming he was the singer, using it to get close to young girls to perform sex acts online.
One 12-year-old girl in New Jersey stated that Moir talked her into a sexually explicit, requesting she perform sexual acts online.
The girl soon realized it wasn’t Justin and tried to cut contact with him. But, Moir threatened to hurt her family and post the chat videos online.
New Jersey police contacted authorities in Toronto, who set of a sting operation to catch the sick guy.
Moir was arrested on April 4 after an undercover Canadian officer posed as a 14-year-old girl online.
The perpetrator engaged the officer in sexual conversations and asked to meet up with the officer posing as the teen girl.
Moir was arrested at that location and charged with luring, manufacturing child pornography, and extortion.
Investigators believe there may be other victims from all over the world.
