Ian Abercrombie, who played the role of Elaine Benes’ eccentric boss Mr. Pitt on “Seinfeld” has passed away at the age of 77.
Other film roles for Abercrombie include “Army of Darkness”, “Birds of Prey”, and many others.
Ian had a distinctive voice and played the wizard Professor Crumbs in Disney show “Wizards of Waverly Place”. He also was the voice of Palpatine/Darth Sidious on “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”.
Survivors include his three brothers Douglas, Donald and Alex.
