Actress Salma Hayek is set to receive France’s highest culture prize, the Legion d’Honneur.

The Mexican actress, whose hubby is French businessman Henri Francoix Pinault, has been named as one of the recipients to be “knighted” by President Nicolas Sarkozy.

The Legion d’Honneur is awarded to native and international figures for their service to France.

Celebrities that previously received the honor include Clint Eastwood, Robert Redford, Robert De Niro, and Lenny Kravitz.

Singer Katy Perry, who recently spent the holidays in Hawaii with friends, has been having heart-to-heart talks on the phone with Rihanna after her split from British comedian Russell Brand.

Insiders say Rihanna has been a “great support” in helping Katy cope with Russell’s plans to divorce.

“Katy is hardly speaking to anyone right now, but she called Rihanna as soon as she heard Russell was filing for divorce. Katy was embarrassed about calling her parents as they’d been so against Russell in the first place, but Rihanna was a great support for her and she really helped to calm her down,” a source stated.

Rihanna is planning a holiday to Mexico with Katy to help her friend deal with the stress of her upcoming divorce.

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, Brandi Glanville, 38, married MMA managager Darin Harvey over the weekend.

Brandi, whose ex-husband Eddie Cibrian left her for squinty-eyed country singer LeAnn Rimes, tied the knot in Las Vegas on a drunken night out.

“[We're] married!” Brandi said. “But to make it legal, I have to go to the courthouse today and I don’t think we’re gonna. Super fun though!”

“We’re not gonna stay married,” Brandi clarified. “But it was a fun way to start out the new year!”

The former model tweeted to her fans on Sunday, writing, “I’m married again- suuuuuuck it!”

The newlyweds celebrated the nuptials by visiting the strip joint, Spearmint Rhino. “Honeymoons with strippers are the best!” Glanville tweeted.

Glanville tweeted, “After some beer and strippers he is now my husband. No joke!”

Harvey called the quickie wedding, “a drunken BFF thing.” He told his Twitter followers, “I had a crazy Vegas moment. Getting annulled tomorrow.”

Olympic ice skater Johnny Weir, 27, tied the knot with his boyfriend Victor Voronov on New Year’s Eve, sharing his happy news with his 103,000 Twitter followers.

“I’m married!” he tweeted, later adding that his actual wedding ceremony will be held in the summer but “all the official stuff is done now! No more livin’ in sin!”

Voronov retweeted his partner’s comments, adding that he was “ringing in the New Year with my new hubby @JohnnyGWeir! #ELATED.”

Weir, who officially came out just one year ago, opened up about his upcoming nuptials a few days before ringing in the new year.

Aretha Franklin, 69, is set to wed her longtime friend William “Willie” Wilkerson this June or July.

The singer released a statement to the Associated Press on Monday, revealing they plan to marry in Miami Beach, Florida. Franklin wants to marry in Florida and celebrate with family and friends on a private yacht.

This will be Aretha’s third time down the aisle. The “Queen of Soul” was married to Ted White for 8 years and divorced in 1969. Her second marriage to actor Glynn Turman ended in 1984 after 6 years together.

Franklin joked about her decision to marry a third time, stating, “No, I’m not pregnant.”

Lindsay Lohan was forced to call the police after a man trespassed on her property yesterday.

The actress was at her Venice Beach property when a man, who was later identified as Lonnie Short, 64, arrived at her home at around 6:30 p.m.

The man wasn’t allowed entry into her home but refused to leave, demanding she speak to him.

Lohan’s intruder was arrested and was booked at a local police station.

Short is being held on $1,000 bail.
