George Clooney’s Italian model girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, has just been implicated in a crazy cocaine scandal that led to the arrest of five people.  Read more on the cocaine and prostitution ring scandal below!

George Clooney’s girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis has been implicated in a cocaine scandal.

One witness testified, “I’ve done cocaine with other people including Elisabetta Canalis.”

A police investigation was launched concerning two Milan, Italy nightclubs in 2008 that were allegedly running a prostitution ring.

“They [the girls] were brought into the clubs by the various characters acting as PR for the evenings to entertain customers at the tables of the private club,” prosecutor Frank Di Maio stated.

“Their job was to encourage these customers to drink alcohol as to increase the table’s bill, followed up by sex off premises.”

Karima, a 26-year-old model from Paris, France testified in the case saying she lived in Italy for over a year and ended up as a prostitute at one of the nightclubs implicated in the ring.

Karima gave verbal testimony stating she had done cocaine with Canalis, 31.  Her testimony was recently handed over to Judge Giulia Turri.

Prosecutors seized the nightclubs and shut them down on July 26, 2010 and put five of the offenders under house arrest.

The two nightclubs, Hollywood and The Club, was described as a “free zone” where celebrities received free cocaine.

“The VIP’s were protected, hidden…able to safely conduct themselves in any way, hidden from the court of public opinion,” Di Maio said.

At the time Elisabetta Canalis, 31, was not dating actor George Clooney.  They began dating in 2009.
