MTV reality star Spencer Pratt was playing a game of tug-of-war with pup his puppy and bit down on his tongue when the dog pulled the rope from his mouth.  Read more on Spencer’s injury below.

Spencer Pratt was playing with his dog, Rainbow, and apparently the dog won the game!

“[We] were just playing with one his new toys and the rope slipped out of my mouth when Rainbow tugged,” Pratt stated. “Very innocent, but it definitely hurt.”

Spencer tweeted the before and after photos of his stitches.  You can see those photos below.

“Sometimes accidents just happen,” he says. “I’m just thankful to Heidi for all the pampering and love she’s given me since the injury. She’s really taken great care of me.”

“I play like this with all our puppies,” he says. “But I’ll think twice about sticking the toy in my mouth next time.”
