Rebecca Gayheart entered the hospital earlier today and is reportedly very excited about the baby’s birth.

“They’re both over the moon about it,” the source reportedly said.

Gayheart confirmed the pregnancy back in November, saying: “We’ve always wanted to be parents. I think Eric is going to be a wonderful dad, and hopefully I’ll be a good mom. We’re absolutely looking forward to it!”

Eric Dane was spotted wearing scrubs at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles while his wife was in labor.  Dane had stated in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres that he planned to be there by his wife’s side during the delivery.

The couple married in Las Vegas in 2004.
