Motorola ran a sexy ad with Megan Fox lounging in a bathtub during the Super Bowl, but replaced Megan’s stubby little thumbs with a hand double. Read more on this story and see the photos below.

Megan Fox is a gorgeous girl but those freaky thumbs are just so disgusting.

Obviously Motorola feels the same and used a hand double in the close-up shots of Megan Fox’s hands in their Superbowl ad.

The commercial features the sexy “Transformers” star naked in a bathtub filled with bubbles.

The Daily Mail reported that many bloggers noticed that those were definitely not Megan’s thumbs in the hand shots.

Fox, 23, has a  hereditary defect known as brachydactyly.

“Literally, what it means is short finger,” Dr. Steven Bendner, a hand surgeon at Beth Israel Medical Center stated. “The nail of the thumb in this condition is often very short and wide.

“It is usually hereditary. Although it could also have been caused by frostbite, or it could have been an injury to the growth plate in childhood.”

But we don’t expect Megan’s nasty-looking thumbs to cause any problem at all in her career!  Check out the photos below to see Megan’s real thumbs and the thumbs of the hand double.
