Johnathan Schaech and “One Tree Hill” actress had an extra exciting Christmas as the couple became engaged. Read more below on Johnathan’s romantic proposal below.

Actor Johnathon Schaech was thrilled that his girlfriend accepted his proposal.

“It was the best present ever,” he told People magazine. “It was the happiest moment of my life.”

The couple began dating while costarring in the 2008 thriller “Prom Night”. Schaech proposed to Jana in his hometown of Edgewood, Maryland on December 22nd.

Schaech, 40, was married to Christina Applegate before they divorced in 2007, says: “I can’t wait to make Jana my wife and have a family.”

Johnathan Schaech recently finished filming the movie “Georgia” with Emmanuelle Chriqui.
