Brooke Hundley Good Morning America Interview (VIDEO)

Brooke Hundley, the former mistress of Steve Phillips, went on Good Morning America on Thursday and opened up about her affair that led to both she and Phillips being fired from ESPN. Read more and see video below.

Brooke Hundley opened up on GMA talking about how she allegedly stalked Steve Phillips and contacted his wife Marnie through a long letter detailing her sexual affair with Steve.

Hundley said that she finally was pushed to her “breaking point” after the comments by Jay Leno about her.

“I had a friend come stay with me because he was concerned … that mentally I would not be able to take much more,” a teary-eyed Hundley told Kate Snow of ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

In Leno’s monologue, he compared photos of Brooke Hundley as well as Steve’s wife Marni with the title of “What was he thinking?”

Hundley took responsibility for her part in the affair. “I brought it on, but not intentionally,” she said.

“I simply wanted somebody to get upset enough to have an impact, to get me out of this horrific situation.”

When asked if she had anything to say to Steve Phillips, Hundley said she hoped Phillips “would grow up and take responsibility for his own actions.”

Steve Phillips was the general manager of the New York Mets until he lost his job due to a different sex scandal. Phillips admitted to three sexual encounters with Hundley.

Steve called Brooke “obsessive and delusional” and told police he feared for the safety of his family.

ESPN fired both Brooke Hundley and Steve Phillips once word of the scandal was out.

Brooke said she decided to speak out to help other women trapped in disastrous affairs.

“I’ve been called things by the public that no woman should ever be called,” she said. “I’ve been called a homewrecker.”
