Shaquille O’Neal & Wife Va’Shaundya “Shaunie” O’Neal Divorcing

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and his wife of seven years Va’Shaundya “Shaunie” O’Neal are divorcing. Read more on the couple’s divorce details below.

The divorce petition was filed by Va’Shaundya O’Neal and cites irreconcilable differences as grounds for divorce. Va’Shaundya “Shaunie” is seeking custody of the couple’s four children and spousal support.

The divorce was filed in California even though Shaquille lives in Florida. It’s being reported that Va’Shaundya recently moved to California in order to obtain a larger divorce settlement.

The couple married in 2002 and had  previously filed for divorce in 2007 but later reconciled.
