* USHER’S WIFE DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL
The wife of R&B superstar USHER has been released from a hospital in Brazil – just days after suffering a heart attack.
Tameka Foster went into cardiac arrest on 6 February (09) as she was being anaesthetised prior to having a “routine surgery”, according to Usher’s publicists.
She was placed in an induced coma for 24 hours and transferred to the intensive care unit at Sirio-Libanes Hospital, where she was joined by her husband.
Now a spokeswoman for the hospital has confirmed Foster was discharged from the medical facility on Monday (16Feb09) – 10 days after her health scare.
However, the representative has refused to comment on the exact nature of the stylist’s surgery.
Reports suggest she was due to undergo liposuction following the birth of the couple’s second son, Naveid Ely Raymond, in December (08). (MT/WNWA/IG)
