Rihanna Finally Opens Up About Chris Brown Attack

Singer Rihanna has found it difficult coming to terms with her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown assaulting her because she says he was her first true love. Read more of what Rihanna had to say about Chris Brown below.

Rihanna is finally opening up about the night that her former boyfriend, Chris Brown, attacked her.Â Rihanna says it could happen to anyone.

The ‘Umbrella’ singer was left beaten and bruised after Brown assaulted her back in February. But Rihanna says,Â “This happened to me. It can happen to anyone.”

Rihanna, 21, said it was tough coming to terms with the beating because of the feelings she had for Chris Brown.

In Rihanna’s interview on ‘Good Morning America’ due to air on Thursday, Rihanna says, “He was definitely my first big love.”

In his own interview, Chris Brown spoke of the incident and of his regret about attacking Rihanna and told how he is trying his best to make amends.

He said: “I’m human. If people feel a certain way, I’m not going to say they’re wrong. But it’s not right to judge somebody when people make mistakes all the time.

“I’ve learned from my mistakes and I’m learning from them. And I regret every moment, every second of it.”

The fight occurred after Chris Brown and Rihanna left a pre-Grammy Awards party in February, when he punched her in the face and bit her arms.

Brown pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to six months of community service, 12 months of domestic violence counseling and five years probation.

The judge also issued a restraining order to keep Brown 100 yards from Rihanna for five years.
