Actor Dennis Hopper has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, just weeks after being hospitalized for “flu-like symptoms”.
Hopper was admitted to a hospital in New York at the end of September after complaining of stomach cramps.
At that time, Dennis Hopper’s rep denied the actor was ill and said he was “feeling much better” after he was hospitalized.
Hopper’s manager Sam Maydew has confirmed his client is battling prostate cancer, and has cancelled all upcoming travel commitments in order to fully fight the disease.
Maydew says, “We’re hoping for the best.”
