Heene Family balloon hoax for show

Was 6 year-old Falcon’s “disappearance” in the homemade balloon just a hoax?  After Falcon was asked a question by Wolf Blitzer on CNN’s Larry King Live, he said his parents said they did it for the show. Hmm… Read more and see the  Heene family on Larry King Live in video below.

People from all over were upset over the th6 year-old boy supposedly being carried away in a balloon craft and then was missing when the balloon landed.

On CNN’s Larry King Live, Falcon said he was in the attic  while everyone was worried sick about him.  Falcon said, “I was in the attic, and the reason why I went up there, my dad yelled at me. He didn’t want me to play in the flying saucer.”

Falcon’s older brother Bradford said he thought his brother was in the balloon, because he says Falcon told him, “‘I’m gonna go sneak in that flying saucer.’ … and I saw him go in.”

But when Wolf Blitzer asked Falcon why he didn’t come out from where he was hiding when  he was being called for by his parents, he said, “You guys said we did this for the show.”

Wolf was unsure if the little boy’s answer and his father Richard didn’t repeat the question to his son, and responded, in part, “I’m kind of appalled after all the feelings that I went through up and down that you guys are trying to suggest something else.”

Wolf then followed up by stating, “I don’t want you to misunderstand, just asking the question, doesn’t mean, Richard, that we’re suggesting anything untoward or anything like that.”

Way to use your kids for publicity. You must have taken parenting lesons from Jon and Kate, use to kids to get publicity. Hope child warefare takes your kids away so they can have a normal life and not one where the parents pretend the kid is dead to get attention.

What amazes me about this story is the relative ease with which this whole ridiculous episode could have been proven (or disproven):

    Step 1) Inflate the balloon.

Step 2) Have boy hang onto balloon in the presence of observers.

Step 3) If the boy looks as if he is being pulled upward by the balloon, then the story is plausible. If it is obvious that he will not lave the ground, the story is a flagrant lie.

Law enforcement and the press had every opportunity to suggest such a test, yet no one did. Brilliant.
