Actress and singer Jennifer Hudson is a new mother to a precious baby boy born August 10, 2009. Read what Jennifer has to say about her and fiance’ David Otunga’s little guy below.

Jennifer Hudson’s fiance’ and father to little David Otunga Jr. is a graduate of Harvard Law. You might remember him as “Punk” on the VH1’s “I Love New York 2,” reality show where he competed for the affections of “Flavor of Love” reject Tiffany “New York” Pollard.

Otunga then signed on with Florida Championship Wrestling and made his wrestling debut this May under the name Dawson Alexander Esq. and won his first match.

Jennifer Hudson David Otunga met in 2008 and they became engaged six months later on her 27th birthday in September. This would have been a very joyful time but a month later her mother, brother and nephew were all murdered.

Jennifer says her hopes in the future for her son David Otunga Jr are for him to be happy. She said they will “definitely encourage education. His father is an education fanatic so we definitely want him to get an education and go to school. … My mom always said, ‘Whatever you want to do, I’ll support you as long as you’re happy.’ So I will do the same.”
