“Gossip Girl” Star Kelly Rutherford Files Restraining Order Against Ex
“Gossip Girl” actress Kelly Rutherford acquired a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband Daniel Giersch. Read more on this story below.
Rutherford’s temporary restraining order stipulates that Giersch must stay at least 100 yards away from Rutherford and their two young children. The order iss effective through October 15, when the court hearing will be held.
In the court papers,Kelly Rutherford accuses her estranged husband of “alarmingly harassing and scary” behavior. “Not only does Daniel harass me, but my child care provider has quit as a result of Daniel’s harassment and threats.”
Kelly also said, “It is clear that Daniel has begun to follow me, my mother, my nanny and he shows up unexpectedly to threaten and scare us.”
Giersch’s attorney says Kelly’s claims are “fabricated accusations,” adding, “Daniel will remain focused on co-parenting both of their children and not make any personal comments in order to continue to protect the children’s need for privacy and well being.”
Kelly Rutherford filed for divorce from Giersch husband earlier this year, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
