Heather Locklear Reprising Her Role On Melrose Place!

Actress Heather Locklear will reprise her role as the bitchy Amanda Woodwards in the new version of “Melrose Place”. Read more on this story below.
The CW network confirmed that Heather Locklear will return in an episode that will air on November 17. They did not elaborate on how many episodes would feature Locklear.
Locklear, 47, was one of the biggest stars of the original “Melrose Place” when she played the role of a blond vixen.
The new “Melrose Place” has had disappointing ratings since it’s debut in early September. Maybe they are hoping Heather Locklear’s character will pull in more viewers.s
The new “Melrose Place” is both a remake and also acontinuation of the original series that aired on Fox from 1992 to 1999. Other stars form the original Melrose to return include Laura Leighton and Thomas Calabro.
“Heather’s involvement in the show is something we’ve been working on for some time as we couldn’t imagine creating and producing this show without the iconic character’s inclusion,” Melrose Place’s producers stated.
In 2008 Heather Locklear was arrested for suspicion of DUI, but it was later dismissed.

Hope Heather Locker’s return can save the show….this show has been great so far, and last night’s episode was the best yet. I couldn’t believe it when I read on Perez Hilton that the ratings are taking a big dive which is so stupid because this show is just getting better…so come on people stop being so LAME!
I was so glad they had Taryn Manning guest star last night – love her! She even pulled a gun on Jonah as they played the Boomkat song “Run Boy” – it was so great. There’s some videos of Taryn and company doing dance rehearsals for the Melrose Place episode floating around on YouTube ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Im5HQAO5yM ). Makes me so envious of her dancing…*sigh. Bring Taryn back for more episodes and let’s make Heather a full-time, permanent cast member again!
