“The Hoff” David Hasselhoff Reps Said He Wasn’t Drunk But Had Ear Infection

Former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff has already been hospitalized many times for alcohol poisoning and was taken by ambulance over the weekend after his daughter found him ill. But it wasn’t alcohol poisoning his reps said…the Hoff had an ear infection and drug reaction. Read more on this story below.

The Hoff was taken from his home to an Encino, CA hospital on Sunday afternoon after 911 was called.

Hasselhoff’s reps said he was being treated for an ear infection and taking Antivert. Hasselhoff also takes Antabuse which prevents alcoholics from drinking. His reps said the medications did a number on his equilibrium.

Hasselhoff’s reps said David went in the ambulance to get help for his condition.

Hasselhoff’s people say he was released an hour after being treated at the hospital.

David Hasselhoff was at home with his 17-year-old daughter Hayley and his male assistant and was drinking heavily. Hasselhoff had recently wrapped taping for America’s Got Talent (on which he is a judge) and shortly after began drinking vodka heavily.

Hasselhoff seems to be in serious condition so 911 was called and he was transported to the hospital. His daughter went with him and was sobbing.

The actor has reportedly been hospitalized with alcohol poisoning more than five times during the past few years.
