Katie Price & Peter Andre File Divorce Papers Today

Katie Price and her estranged husband Peter Andre have started the process to end their marriage today, with both filing divorce papers. Read more on Price and Andre’s divorce below.

The couple has been at war since their split in May after their three-year marriage. Now both Katie and Peter have filed divorce papers so neither will have to admit to being responsible for the end of their marriage.

Peter Andre has believed to have taken action first, but Katie aka “Jordan” has instructed her lawyers to follow suit.

A family lawyer said: “It’s quite sad really and nothing more than a petty snipe from Katie. It’s her way of saying, ‘I am not allowing you to divorce me – instead I am going to divorce you.’ “

The couple have three children together, Harvey, seven, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii. They will be granted a cross decree with both filing, and will need to wait six weeks before the decree is given.

It is believed the couple has already reached a financial settlement and custody arrangements for the children and are ready to end the marriage quickly.

Katie and Peter attempted to go to counseling, but Peter finally ended their relationship in May.

He said this week: “There’s some really incredible stuff that only Katie and I know about. But I’ll never talk about it in public, because I want to protect the kids from all that. I walked away because I had to.”

Since their split, 31-year-old model Katie has been dating cage fighter Alex Reid, while Peter, 36, says he is still single.
