Brody Jenner Spends 26th Birthday Having Appendix Surgery!

Brody’s rep stated, “Brody Jenner unfortunately spent the morning of his 26th birthday having his appendix removed.”

The son of Olympian athlete Bruce Jenner and songwriter Linda Thompson is doing well after his surgery says the rep. “He is resting with family and friends and expected to have a speedy recovery.”

Jenner reportedly checked into the hospital around 3 a.m. Friday morning with a ruptured appendix and was in surgery by 7 a.m.

Jenner wrote on his Twitter page:

“Spending my bday in the hospital… This sucks,” on the night of August 20, followed by “Thank you all for the kind words… Got my lady with me so I will be ok.. She is taking good care of me love her.” Early the next morning, he wrote, “@jayde_Nicole and I sitting around at the hospital waiting for me to go under the knife great birthday!”

Jenner later added:

“My lady and I chilling post op… she is the best nurse ever!! It’s been a long 2 days. Nap time http://yfrog.com/10lqyij” he wrote yesterday. And earlier today, he tweeted “Still in the hospital.. Hope I get out today!!! ”
