Actor John Quade Dies At Age 71 (Photos)

John Quade, who was known for playing the heavy character in many Clint Eastwood movies, has died at age 71. Read more on this story below.

Quade’s wife, Gwen, said her husband died in his sleep of natural causes on Sunday in his home in Southern California.

John Quade had many television and movie roles in his career that spanned more than a quarter-century.

Quade is probably most well-known by role as a motorcycle gang leader in the Clint Eastwod movie”Every Which Way But Loose” and its sequel, “Any Which Way You Can.”

Quade also played Sheriff Biggs in episodes of “Roots.”

John Quade is survived by his wife, six children and 10 grandchildren.
