Naked Sculpture Of Angelina Jolie Breastfeeding Goes On Display

Artist Daniel Edwards has immortalized Angelina Jolie in a work of art, showing her breastfeeding twins. Read more and see video from the artist below.

Daniel Edwards has also done sculptures of Britney Spears, Suri Cruise’s poop (no joke), Oprah Winfrey and her dogs, Paris Hilton’s organs, and Octomom.

The New York-based artist, Edwards, created a sculpture of Angelina nursing her and Brad Pitt’s twins, Vivienne and Knox. The art piece is entitled “Landmark for Breastfeeding”.

Edwards depicted one of the twins to be of African descent as a nod to the couple’s adoption efforts and humanitarian work.

“Hopefully, my sculpture inspires an increase of wetnurses to assist women who have concerns about mastitis, or passing HIV to their infant,” he says.

The naked Angelina Jolie sculpture will grace the streets of Oklahoma City in September.

Sandy Wilson of Phantom-Financial, the organization behind the Jolie artwork, says, “We believe the statue sends a beautiful message by promoting the acceptance of public breastfeeding. Mothers should be encouraged to nurture their babies anywhere.”

The sculpture will go on show in London later this year (09)
