“Bikini Bandit” Morgan Haley Arrested For Bizarre Carjacking (Photos)

Police are investigating a bizarre carjacking in which Morgan Haley, 24, referred to as the “bikini bandit” attempted to rob an RV dealership as well as car-jack a woman. Read more on the bikini bandit and see photos below.

Morgan Haley, 24, was arrested and taken to the DeSoto County Jail, with a bond set at $6,000.

Haley faces charges of carjacking and two counts of assault by physical fear. The crazy incident began on Thursday at 5:33 p.m.

“The suspect, wearing only a bikini, approached a woman and threatened her to get out of her car,” Southaven Police Chief Tom Long said Friday. “The woman did not see a weapon, but fearing for her children, she got out of the car with her kids, and then the suspect left the scene in the car.”

Morgan Haley then drove a few blocks to the Southaven RV Center at 5488 Pepperchase at Interstate 55 north of Church Road.

“Once inside the RV center, she approached employees with something under a towel resembling a weapon and told them it was a robbery,” Long said.

She ordered employees on the floor and when one employee resisted, she tried to assault him. The employees then restrained the suspect and held her until police arrived. No weapon was found.
