Trace Cyrus & Demi Lovato Split Via Twitter (Photos)

After just recently planning to meet up in Los Angeles, Trace Cyrus and Demi Lovato broke up on Twitter. Read more on this story below.

Trace Cyrus, 20, singer andguitarist for the band Metro Station (as well as Miley’s big bro), met up with Disney star Demi Lovato, 16, while they both had breaks in their schedules. “I’ve been looking forward to today for so long now,” Trace posted on July 12.

They had several dates including a trip to L.A.’s Universal CityWalk to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. But Trace soon started acting distant. A source tattled to Star magazine, “Trace started acting like a jerk. He knew he had to leave, and he was afraid of getting hurt. So he just started acting distant.”

The new couple quickly split once Trace returned to his tour. “I think you and me have come to the end of our time,” Demi posted on Twitter on July 19.

Trace responded: “Another storybook ending.”

But a source said, “Demi is heartbroken, and Trace is too,” they revealed. “He knows he blew it.”
