Actor Stephen Baldwin & Wife Kennya Baldwin File For Bankruptcy (Photos)

Actor Stephen Baldwin has reportedly filed for bankruptcy in New York on Tuesday. The court document states that Baldwin is millions in debt. Read more on this story below.

Stephen Baldwin, 43, filed for Chapter 11 protection in which he states he owes more than $2.3 million and owns a New York property valued at only $1.1 million. Stephen’s wife, Kennya Baldwin, is also named in the document.

Baldwin has been seen in many films including”The Usual Suspects” in 1995 and more recently on “I’m a Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here”.

Stephen financial situation is pretty bad. Baldwin owes about $1.2 million on two mortgages on the New York property and more than $1 million in taxes. And court documents also show he has credit card debt.

A lawyer for Baldwin had no comment.

Stephen Baldwin calls himself a born-again Christian and has tried to help many people change their lives for the better.

Newsday reported earlier this month that a homeless man who was allowed to live on Baldwin’s property was arrested on heroin charges and suspected of dealing drugs.

Police told the newspaper that Baldwin was shocked and just trying to help the man.
