“Octomom” Nadya Suleman’s 2 Year-Old Son Rushed To Hospital

“Octomom” aka Nadya Suleman had to rush her son Caleb, 2, to the hospital on Friday evening after he accidentally drank a chemical from an older brother’s volcano kit. Read more on Octomom’s great mothering skills below.

Little two year-old Caleb drank a chemical solution from a volcano kit and later vomited. But Nadya Suleman called the paramedics to be certain.

“I knew it would all get blown out of proportion if I called, but I didn’t want to take any chances,” Suleman tells People magazine. “I think I did the right thing. He’s okay.”

Octomom called 911 around 5 p.m. Friday afternoon, which resulted in about 40 medical personnel showing up to her California home.  It was reportedly chaos and a fireman even was asking Nadya to pose for a cellphone picture.

Nadya and Caleb were taken to St. Jude Medical Center in nearby Fullerton, Calif., where doctors ran tests on him to determine exactly what was in the solution he drank. It turned out to contain mostly salt water, according to a family friend. Two and a half hours later Suleman and Caleb were back at home with the 13 other members of their family.
