Couple With 16 Kids Found Dead!: Byrd & Melanie Billings Found Shot (VIDEO)

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is looking for three men that shot and killed the mother and father of 16 children during a home invasion and robbery. Byrd and Melanie Billings were shot dead at their Florida home. Read more and see video of this tragic story below.

Byrd and Melanie Billings were shot just before eight p.m. Thursday night at their home on Mobile Highway in the Beulah Community. Beulah is around 17 miles northwest of Pensacola, near the Alabama and Florida state line.

Police have reported eight of the children, ages 8-14, were home when the couple was shot. One of the kids heard the gunshots and called a friend of the family. Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Ted Roy says one of them parents was shot in the head.

The Billings have 16 children. Twelve of the children are adopted, many of these kids have special needs.

Deputies are looking for the red, full size van spotted and three white males. The house did have a security surveillance system. Police may be releasing the surveillance video later today.
