Supermodel Mulder arrested
Former supermodel KAREN MULDER has been arrested in Paris, France after allegedly making a series of threatening phone calls to her plastic surgeon.
The Dutch beauty, 39, was taken into custody on Tuesday morning (30Jun09) after the female doctor reported receiving a number of “vicious telephone calls” from Mulder.
According to reports online, Mulder became aggressive after the medic refused to reverse an earlier operation she had undergone.
A police source says, “She was screaming and shouting about the operation and became extremely threatening.
“There were repeated calls to the female surgeon who was extremely scared. The suspect is being interviewed.”
Mulder, who stepped into the limelight in the 1990s alongside the likes of Kate Moss, Helena Christensen and Naomi Campbell, is now facing a charge of threatening behaviour and is expected to be released later on Tuesday. (MT/WNWCDAM)
