Las Vegas Performer Fred Travalena Dies Of Cancer At 66 (Photo/Video)
Impressionist Fred Travalena died Sunday of Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, according to a release from his publicist. Travalena was 66 years old. Read more on Fred Travalena and see video of his impressions below.
Fred Travalena was a regular on talks shows that included “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson,” “Live With Regis & Kathy Lee,” and “Late Night With David Letterman.”
Travalena was known for his right-on impressions of hundreds of stars, including Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Clint Eastwood, and even Michael Jackson.
Frank Sinatra once said “If you like me, go see Fred Travalena. He does me great.”
The Las Vegas performer received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2005.
Travalena is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lois, and sons Fred IV and Cory, and a granddaughter.
Private services will be held this week, with a public memorial service to be announced later.
