Michael Jackson was pronounced dead today after paramedics found him unresponsive and in a coma at his Bel-Air mansion.
Los Angeles Fire Department Capt. Steve Ruda said that paramedics responded to a 911 call from Michael’s home. When paramedics arrived, Jackson wasn’t breathing. The paramedics performed CPR and quickly took him to UCLA Medical Center, Ruda said.
There were reportedly hundreds of reporters that flocked to the hospital to hear news of Michael Jackson’s condition. Several sources wishing to remain anonymous said Jackson’s family members rushed to his bedside, where he was in a coma.
Law enforcement sources said the Los Angeles Police Department robbery-homicide detectives have opened an investigation into Jackson’s death, but said there is no evidence of any wrongdoing. The L.A. County coroner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine a cause of death.
A source with the Los Angeles Fire Department stated that Jackson was in full cardiac arrest when paramedics arrived. A doctor was in the house performing CPR on him, said the source, who asked not to be named because he was not authorized to speak to the media.
Michael Jackson is survived by his three children: sons Prince Michael 7, and Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., 12, and daughter Paris Michael Katherine, age 11.

does anyone remember he was a child molester at one point. personally if i had any children i would be glad he is dead so there one less person to take the chance on hurting our future people. the children. yes i know he is a spectacular person but still. so there is a good and a bad side to his death.

Wow-this is the second site I’ve been to and people are obviously very heated and divided on MJ. But I’ve noticed the folks who know he had a weird side (whatever it may be: Elephant man bone collector, an adult who didn’t want to grow up, only happy w/ children, or psychologically handicapped)state so in straight-forward terms; whereas the MJ fans, who can’t stand to believe he had any faults, get all hot & bothered and attack everyone else’s opions with slurs and profanity…interesting.

This is the second site i been on and people some people are being so cruel and you guys need to just stop. I am 16 yrs old. I didnt really grow up on his music but i knew some of his hits. first of all, condolences to his family.
secondly… get the story straight. nobody has confirmed it was a heart attack. they said it was cardiac arrest which is not always caused by a heart attack. faulty reporting like this is dangerous and media sources should be careful not to interchange terminology such as “heart attack” and “cardiac arrest” as they don’t mean the same thing.

they list cardiac arrest on ALL heart attack related deaths! i personally kno because my parents death certificate list cardiac arrest as cause of death when they had massive coronaries….

When you post your opinions, know that they are just that, your own little made up opinions.
Maybe you should try some facts for a change.
1) It was cardiac arrest and not a heart attack
2) Even though he did not get just treatment and was “guilty until proven innocent” in both of his child molestation court cases, which is the opposite of what our justice system should do, AND he was cleared on all charges, TWICE!
I don’t care if it is Michael Jackson or Mother Teresa, any idiot parent that leaves their child with a stranger or doesn’t accompany them, is not a good parent. PERIOD! and Child protective services should have been called on the parents. After the first case, if you thought he was molesting children, then why would you bring them into that situation.
There is NO excuse for the second case after the first one was so widely publicized.
A normal 40 something year old man wouldn’t sleep with a child in his bed, but a normal 40 something year old man doesn’t climb a tree while being interviewed for prime time tv, or ride a scooter up and down his hotel hallways or think the grocery store is as much fun as an amusement park. When will you realize that he NEVER GOT A CHILDHOOD and this was hiS CHANCE OF having that childhood. He had a child-like mind. I am basing this opinion on EVERY interview I have ever seen of his.

melissa you are the one that should get your facts straight. yes they list cardiac arrest on heart attacks becase heart attacks (myocardial infarctions) are a cause of cardiac arrest. NOT VICE VERSA. they said MJ died of a cardiac arrest. that doesnt mean it was specifically a heart attack. there are NUMEROUS other causes of cardiac arrest. i’m sorry but citing that you read something on a death certificate doesnt mean you know what you are talking about. please research properly before posting what you cite to be facts.

If u were in the public eye and they were giving u a thrashing about ur plastic surgery would u not lie? would u not tell a little white lie about how many visits u had to the docs. so u didnt have to deal with it. i can give u plenty of names of other music artist, actresses, actors or anyone else in the public eye that has lied about thier surgery. god even my nxt door neighbour claims her boobs r real. n i kno a 65 yr old women cn not hav boobs that great! he was put under so much pressure from the public. and all he wanted to do was make music that made a difference. expressing his feelings in the only way he knew how.
