Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland Cast Photos

The first awesome images from the new Tim Burton film, “Alice in Wonderland” are out. This movie looks like it’ll be awesome. Read more and see other character’s photos below.

Tim Burton once again has cast the great Johnny Depp who will play the Mad Hatter. Depp sports bright orange hair, pink lips, and a ghostly-pale face in the pictures.

Unknown Australian actress Mia Wasikowska will play the role of Alice.

Helen Bonham Carter will be the Red Queen, shown with a freaky oversized head. And the beautiful Anne Hathaway will take the role as the White Queen.

The story is based on the Lewis Carroll’s book Through The Looking Glass, which is a sequel to his Alice In Wonderland and is set 10 years after Alice first ventured into the strange world, USA Today reports.

The story follows Alice, now 17, returning to Wonderland for the second time despite having no recollection of her first visit.

After attending a party in the real world, only to find out she is being proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty aristocrats, she runs off, following the white rabbit back to Wonderland.

The film is due for release in 2010.
