Al Roker “Speidi” Interview VIDEO
Posted on June 15, 2009
Al Roker obviously can’t stand “Speidi” (Spencer and Heidi Pratt), and let his true feelings be known on Monday’s Today Show. See video of Al Roker and his uncomfortable interview with Speidi below.
The Hill’s reality show stars, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag Pratt, were guests Monday on the Today Show.
The normally jovial Al Roker basically interrogated the celebrity couple who recently quit the NBC reality show I’m A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here.
Al Roker began the interview with Heidi and Spencer by asking if they agreed with a recent review that they were “all that is wrong with celebrity.” The always annoying Pratt said the heel act he puts on is a play for the cameras, and that he aspires to be a hero in real life. Heidi Montag stood by her story that she became very sick in Costa Rica, which led the couple to leave the show.
The interview continued continued to be extremely uncomfortable until Roker ended the segment somewhat abruptly.
Roker took to his Twitter page after the interview saying: “Heidi and Spencer are an interesting couple. famous for…being infamous. Bad and vacuous behavior. I think we’re at minute 11 of their 15.”
Heidi Pratt spoke about how rude Roker was in their interview to Ryan Seacrest saying:
I was shocked at how rude [Al Roker] was. I was crying afterwards because I couldn’t believe I felt personally attacked. … I really would advise women especially to be careful around him because I feel like he definitely came and attacked me and I did not appreciate that at all.”
And o course Spencer Pratt attacked Roker verbally saying he was shocked that a weatherman would even try to interview him:
I thought we were being interviewed by some guy Matt Lauer or something, and the next thing I know we got the guy who tells me if it’s rainy or sunny trying to ask me questions, so we were thrown off that the weatherman was even trying to talk to Speidi.”

I have watched Al for years. This interview is not any different than any other interview he did. He was just as considerate as he has been in the past. WHAT is the big deal. Barbara Walters was worse to them than Al ever could be. Give up and stop worshiping these dumb celebrities. They have no morals and why would anyone want to be like them. They get in their pants just like anyone else. They are human beings with flaws which they put out in the media.

Hey speidi, or whatever they call you: I know who Al Roker is, but maybe that is because I watch an actual news program regularly and keep up with actual current events. Who in the heck are these fools, and who do they think they are? They are not real “stars” or celebrities. Do us a favor network execs, don’t put these fool reality morons on a “Real” news show and don’t demean any of your journalists or meteorologists by making them even acknowledge these idiots exist. Too bad they didn’t get lost in the jungle, it would have been great to never see them again. They must have left a trail of breadcrumbs.

Narcissistic personality disorder
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, the diagnostic classification system used in the United States, as “a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and a lack of empathy.” [1]
The narcissist is described as turning inward for gratification rather than depending on others, and as being excessively preoccupied with issues of personal adequacy, power, and prestige.[2] Narcissistic personality disorder is closely linked to self-centeredness. It is also colloquially referred to as “the God complex”.
Sounds like Speidi and from the Vanity Fair excerpt I just read that uses this term, it also describes Sarah Palin.
